The new CarPlay Ultra®, developed in collaboration between Aston Martin and Apple, has been officially unveiled.
A product of this prestigious partnership, CarPlay Ultra® will debut in Aston Martin’s super SUV, the DBX707, and will be featured across the brand’s entire new model lineup.
The next-generation CarPlay Ultra® offers an expansive experience that goes beyond the central infotainment display—extending to the driver’s instrument cluster as well. Apple Maps is seamlessly integrated into the driver’s screen, while media content and wallpapers flow smoothly across both displays. Key vehicle information such as speed, RPM, fuel level, gear status, and advanced driver assistance features are displayed on the instrument panel, while critical alerts like tire pressure warnings appear as real-time pop-up notifications.
Thanks to integrated vehicle controls, systems such as heating and ventilation, 3D camera views, advanced parking assistance, audio settings, dynamic driving modes, and active safety features can all be managed directly through CarPlay Ultra®. Personalization options are equally advanced—users can customize the digital appearance of their vehicle by adjusting elements like color, texture, and pattern on the instrument cluster. Different visual themes are available, including a classic dual-dial layout and a modern “Power Bar” design. Enhanced widget support enables users to arrange real-time travel time, fuel efficiency, weather updates, and calendar events to their liking on the displays.
Working closely with Apple, Aston Martin has placed Siri at the heart of the CarPlay Ultra® experience. Drivers can effortlessly handle tasks like navigation, climate control, and messaging using voice commands. By integrating Apple’s AI-powered Apple Intelligence technology, CarPlay Ultra® offers a smarter and more personalized driving experience. The system provides contextual solutions tailored to the driver’s location and needs—such as finding parking, placing quick food orders, or suggesting nearby fuel stations—while continuing to support third-party apps like Spotify and WhatsApp.
